VendorManagementHead (Global Procurement) Dubai
Objective As a key pillar of global procurement department, VendorManagement team is responsible for end-to-end supplier lifecycle management ranging from onboarding to phase-out. main Job objective include but aren't limited to review of supplier management policies and guidelines, supplier information and risk management, and supplier portal function improvement.
Responsibilities • Craft global supplier strategies. Align supplier management with the company's overall strategy and growth plans. Stay ahead of the curve by researching industry trends and best practices in procurement. Design a supplier lifecycle and risk management system that supports the company's development goals. • Manage all core supplier data across the company. Ensure clear data sources and maintain data accuracy, authenticity, and uniqueness. • Work closely with production, R&D, and data analysis teams throughout the entire lifecycle of supplier management products – from research and design to implementation and operation. • Improve the efficiency of the purchasing organization and its management practices. Leverage the supplier management platform's capabilities through product development and optimization plans. • Develop, update, and publish consistent supplier management guidelines based on current business needs.
Qualifications • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Business Management or a relevant field. • 8+ years experience working in a matrix multinational organization with good insights into the tech industry. • Solid understanding of procurement regulations, best practices, and market trends across different regions • Extensive experience of vendormanagement processes, including sourcing, contract negotiation, performance monitoring, and relationship management. • Professional certifications in procurement (such as CSCP, CPM, CPP). • Fluent in English and ideally Chinese. • Strong leadership abilities to guide and motivate a diverse team of vendor managers across different regions. • Capable of analyzing data regarding vendor performance metrics • Identifying areas for improvement or risk mitigation, and developing strategies to address challenges that may arise in managing global vendors. • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, set clear goals and deadlines, and allocate resources will be essential in this role. • Culturally sensitive and adaptable to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
