About the role
We are looking for an Administration superstar to help us set up a Hub at Taguig, Philippines.
This is full-time permanent role, reporting to the HR Manager with a dotted line to the Systems Manager who are both based at New Zealand. In this role, you will provide administrative support to ensure the smooth day to day operation of the local office.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
Work with the Mega head office and manage the establishment of a Mega office located at Taguig, Philippine;
Manage the local suppliers of IT equipment and overall Office supply;
Work closely with the Mega Systems team and assist with the set-up of laptops of our staff;
Coordinate with the Systems team and provide the technical support to our local team members;
As needed, assist the HR team with relevant administrative tasks and people initiatives;
Promote health and safety best practices at the local hub.
About you
The role requires the ability to juggle multiple priorities and engage with teams across the globe. Flexibility in your working hours will be needed. To be successful in the role, you will have:
Excellent Computer Skills. Previous experience of providing basic level IT helpdesk support will be advantageous
Proven experience in providing Administrative support. Relevant experience within a global organization will be advantageous
Good understanding of the components of a computer system and how to diagnose faults
Understanding of Wifi networks
Ability to work within a team as well as the ability to work independently when required
An inquisitive mindset, hunger to learn and grow
Excellent organization skills, and strong attention to details
Strong sense of confidentiality
Proven ability to take ownership of the role, to work autonomously and to delivery high results
Excellent English communication skills both verbal and written
