Chocolate Chip Cookies
INGREDIENTS:
1 CUP BUTTER 225 GRAMS MELTED
¾ CUP WHITE SUGAR9 120 GRAMS
1 ¼ CUP BROWN SUGAR 225 GRAMS
2 LARGE EGGS 100 GRAMS
1 TSP VANILLA
2 ½ CUP ALL PURPOSE FLOUR 300 GRAMS
½ TSP SALT 3 GRAMS
1 TSP BAKING SODA 6 GRAMS
300 GRAMS CHOCOLATE CHIPS
PROCEDURE:
1. In a saucepan melt the butter until lightly brown. Set aside and let it cool.
2. In a bowl cream melted butter, white sugar and brown sugar using a hand mixer.
3. While mixing add in the egg one at a time then the vanilla. Mix until fully combined.
4. Sift the all purpose flour, baking soda and salt.
5. Fold until everything is well incorporated. Then fold in chocolate chips.
6. Using an ice cream scoop, scoop the dough and place it in a line pan.
7. Cover with cling wrap and refrigerate for 2 hours or freeze for 30 mins.
8. Preheat the oven and bake the cookies for 12 -15 minutes for 160C
9. Cool completely before serving any excess cookies can be frozen up to 6 months.
