Beef Bulalo (Filipino Beef Shank Soup)
Beef Bulalo is a well known Filipino comfort food with either regular cabbage or Napa cabbage. It is usually eaten during Cold season because of being a soup, Filipinos love bulalo for it's sweet taste and flavor
Ingredients
- 2 to 3 lbs. beef shank
- 8 to 10 cups water
- 1 piece beef bouillon
- 2 onion sliced
- 2 corn sliced
- ½ cabbage
- 2 to 3 tablespoons fish sauce
Instructions
- Pour 4 cups water in a pressure cooker pot. Let boil.
- Add the beef shank, corn, and beef bouillon. Cover and pressure-cook for 25 minutes.
- Remove the cover once the pressure is out.
- Pour additional water. Let boil.
- Add fish sauce, cabbage. Stir and cook for 2 minutes.
- Serve hot with rice.
