​About the Role

Our client is seeking a dynamic person to take on the role of Customs Manager, based in Pasay (onsite). In this role, the successful candidate is responsible for participation in designing and ensuring the implementation of customer operations strategy to deliver efficient logistics processes and results in the supply chain of a specific client using multimodal means of transportation and provide support to the sales team in line with the business strategy and requirements, corporate guidelines and policies.

Responsibilities

• This role will lead a team of in-house customs brokers including customs operations specialists and ensure:

  • Accurate and timely customs declaration information working with information provided by the client

  • Seamless and compliant execution of customs and trade strategy in line with business requirements, corporate guidelines and police

  • Efficient flow of work relating to customs jobs, in accordance with company SOP, policy and KPIs

  • Excellent service to internal and external stakeholders

Requirements:

• Tertiary qualifications in Logistics are preferred, alternatively a commensurate level of education and commercial experience

• Required - Customs brokerage license

• In-depth knowledge of customs tariffs; import, export and taxation regulations, tariff advice, customs refunds and entry lodgements

• At least 10 years of work experience as an active signing broker and a strong network with relevant stakeholders in the logistics industry

• Required – the experience of working with Philippine customs;

• Required – good knowledge of the market;

• Good command of English.
